Dr. John Milanovich, director and founder of MindMatters, is a fully licensed psychologist in
the state of Michigan. He completed formal training in Neuropsychological Assessment
and Health Psychology, which included graduate and post-doctoral clinical studies at the
University of Miami (Florida) and the University of Michigan. Dr. Milanovich has fulfilled the
highest training requirements developed by the American Psychological Association in
Clinical Neuropsychology. He is also an infant-toddler specialist who studies the impact of
various family systems, parenting approaches, and school formats on children with
disabilities or special needs.
Dr. Milanovich has been a member of the American Psychological Association, the
Michigan Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, the
National Academy of Neuropsychology, the World Organization for Infants and Toddlers,
the Michigan Autism Society, and the Autism Society of America.
The MindMatters approach, developed by Dr. Milanovich, is a culmination of clinical
practice experiences, collaboration with colleagues, and the integration of reliable research
to discover specific mechanisms of aberrant social-emotional-behavioral development in
children. Dr. Milanovich is pleased to offer the most comprehensive evaluations and
conscientious treatment programs available to families, helping them to understand their
child’s needs from the inside out.
